About Servair Ghana
Servair, the leading airline catering and logistics provider in France and Africa and a member of gategroup, announces the inauguration of a new unit in Ghana at Accra airport.
The company has 115 employees who will produce 2,500 meals for seven airlines every day. Alongside the provision of inflight catering services, the 2,600 m² unit will be equipped to provide food solutions to VIP lounges, schools, company canteens, and other non-airline clients.
- POSITION: Chef de Partie
- REPORTS: Sous Chef, Executive Chef
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interested applicants will perform the responsibilities below:
- Firstly, reporting to the Sous Chef, Executive Chef.
- Secondly, responsible for supervising a shift of an assigned part of the kitchen.
- Thirdly, producing food items according to approved specifications/recipes.
- Also, deputizing for Sous Chef, during his/her absence.
- Furthermore, manages daily production shifts.
- Moreover, trains and monitors shift employees to comply with proper work procedures and production of food components.
- Additionally, responsible for the preparation/cooking of food items according to approved specifications/recipes.
- Besides the above, monitors yields of products to ensure maximum usage.
- Also, ensures quality production standards are followed and maintained.
- Again, ensures adherence to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with gategroup policies and procedures.
- Next, prepares a material list for designated recipes.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Qualification as a Chef by trade
- Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, formal culinary education, or a related field required
