JOB VACANCY FOR CREDIT MANAGER AT A RURAL BANK
A fast-growing Rural Bank with head office in the Central Region is seeking to employ qualified professionals/personnel to fill the following position: CREDIT MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Firstly, Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Secondly, Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.
- Thirdly, Approving and rejecting loans based on available data.
- Furthermore, Calculating and setting loan interest rates.
- Moreover, Negotiating the terms of the loan with new clients.
- Also, Ensuring all loans and lending procedures comply with regulations.
- Then, Maintaining records of all company loans.
- Last but not least, Monitoring loan payments and bad debts.
- Finally, Reviewing and updating the company’s credit policy.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- High level of professionalism and personal integrity
- A strategic thinker with drive
- Result-Oriented d) Strong leadership and team building skills
- Passion for microfinance
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Proficiency in Ms Excel, Ms Word and Ms PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Banking Software Applications.
- Knowledge in Globus T24 Software will be an added advantage.
