The Opportunity

Nestlé Ghana is seeking a dedicated Medical Delegate to join a high-performing team. In this crucial role, you will promote exclusive breastfeeding and deliver accurate scientific information about Nestlé’s Infant Nutritional Solutions to Healthcare Professionals. Your work will strictly adhere to the WHO Code, national regulation LI 1667, and Nestlé’s own instructions, ensuring ethical and informed promotion of our nutritional products.

A Day in the Life

Your role will blend science, education, and relationship management. You will be responsible for:

Coordinating and executing communication plans with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), working closely with the Performance Development team to align with field force goals.
Evaluating and recommending medical events and conferences for participation to effectively communicate Nestlé Nutrition’s scientific story.
Developing and building strong, long-term relationships with top healthcare officials and institutions.
Independently managing resources and projects to exceed set objectives, even in challenging environments.
Organizing educational activities for health professionals on key topics related to infant nutrition, product science, and research.
Effectively translating complex nutrition and product concepts into clear, impactful information for HCPs.

What Will Make You Successful?

The ideal candidate is a credible, self-driven professional with a scientific background and excellent interpersonal skills. Key attributes include:

Experience in detailing or promoting nutritional/medical solutions directly to healthcare professionals.
The ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles, with a valid driver’s license.
Proven skill in working independently, managing resources, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet ambitious goals.
Strong project management capabilities, including planning, organizing, and executing educational activities.
Superior communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A resilient and goal-oriented mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: A minimum of a first degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related clinical field.
Experience: At least three years of relevant work experience as a Medical Representative, Nutritionist, Dietician, Nurse, Pharmacist, or in a similar clinical/health promotion role.

Location: Accra and Takoradi
