POSITION: Finance Analyst (Native French Speaker)

Minimum Educational Qualification:

A first-class degree in finance or a related field is required, and an accounting qualification (ICA/ACCA) is preferred.

Minimum Relevant Work Experience:

A minimum of two years of experience in financial reporting, managerial accounting, costing, and auditing in FMCG companies is advantageous.

Nestlé Business Services is now seeking a Finance Analyst who is a native French speaker who will be in charge of handling financial transactions, keeping correct records, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and standards. This position entails reconciling accounts, creating financial reports, managing financial KPIs, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes and contribute to the organization’s financial health and performance.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations and Management Accounting.

• Ensure that the Financial Reporting procedures work smoothly and in real-time, hence speeding up the delivery of real-time and accurate financial information to Management and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Coordinate the deployment of enhancements to streamline accounting procedures.
• Prepare Dynamic Forecast (DF) reports and analysis for assessment by business analysts.
• Consolidating key figures for the country during Period End Closing (PEC)
• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and recommendations, allowing management to make more educated business decisions.
• Review the account reconciliation.

Closing and Financial Reporting

• Participate actively in the period-end closing process.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review and submit final reports that are currently under NBS scope.

Internal Control and Compliance

• Collaborate with other departments to apply accounting advice to operational challenges, ensuring that accounting rules are followed. Ensure compliance with market tax regulations.

Others

• Manage all external accounting audits.
• Manage audit process improvements in accounting.

• Familiar with accounting and finance terminology (e.g., chart of accounts, general ledger, debit/credit)
• Strong team player.
• Solid comprehension of balance sheet general ledger accounts.
• Solid comprehension of income statement general ledger accounts.
• Good understanding of sub-ledger vs. general-ledger reconciliation.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Drive to take initiative and improve processes.
• Attention to detail and correctness.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Problem identification and solution
