Role Overview

As Procurement Officer, you will manage the company’s procurement activities while ensuring cost-effective sourcing of construction materials and operational supplies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support our commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable housing solutions across Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

Execute procurement strategies for construction materials and operational supplies
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers through comprehensive market research
Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to optimize cost and quality
Maintain accurate supplier records and performance documentation
Utilize supply chain management software for inventory forecasting
Monitor stock levels to prevent project delays and minimize excess inventory
Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Implement efficient inventory management and tracking systems
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
Ensure adherence to procurement regulations and quality standards
Maintain meticulous records of all procurement transactions
Collaborate with finance team to verify invoice accuracy and process payments

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance
1-2 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Basic knowledge of procurement principles and inventory management
Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
