POSITION: English Literature Teacher

Beacon International School is seeking an English Literature Teacher for immediate employment. Your Mission

Instructional Delivery

Curriculum Management

  • You will develop lesson plans that align with specific board standards, such as the Ghana Education Service (GES) or international systems like Cambridge Assessment International Education.
  • Sequencing content logically across terms, building skills progressively from foundational analysis to advanced critique.

Assessment

  • You will prepare, administer, and grade regular assignments, tests, and mock examinations to track student progress.
  • Using assessment data to identify struggling students and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Preparing students for national or international certification through targeted exam practice and feedback.

Literary Exploration

  • You will foster critical thinking by guiding students through the analysis of themes, literary devices, and historical contexts of various works.
