Your Mission

You will take responsibility for the technical aspects of preparing and distributing medicines. Your focus will span medication dispensing, stock management, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and administrative support. Key Responsibilities

Your role spans dispensing, stock management, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and administrative support. Here is what you will tackle:

Medication Dispensing

You will accurately interpret, assemble, and label prescriptions in accordance with clinical guidelines, ensuring every patient receives the correct medicine and dosage.
Double checking your work prevents errors that could harm patients.

Stock Management

You will monitor inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and ensure the correct storage of vaccines and temperature sensitive medications.
Preventing stock outs and maintaining cold chain integrity protects both the pharmacy and the patients.

Patient Counseling

You will advise patients on the correct use of their medications, potential side effects, and general health inquiries.
Clear, patient friendly explanations improve adherence and outcomes.

Regulatory Compliance

You will maintain precise records of all dispensed medications, ensuring the pharmacy operates within legal and ethical frameworks.
Accurate documentation protects the pharmacy during audits and inspections.

Administrative Support

You will utilize pharmacy management software to process orders and maintain updated patient profiles.
Keeping digital records current supports efficient refills and reduces errors.

Education

An HND in Dispensing Technology.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment is preferred. New graduates with strong internships are welcome to apply.
