AGROPAL produces dried fruits (mostly from mangoes and pineapples). Our objective is to empower all actors in the agricultural value chain to support the sector’s inclusive development. Job Description.

• Reports to managers or supervisors.
• Departments include production, finance and accounts, human resources, export and trade, sourcing and extension, and marketing.
• Duration: Six months.
• Work Location: Akuse, Eastern Region.

Position Summary

AGROPAL is conducting an internship recruiting campaign to provide opportunities for new graduates to gain real-world experience in their respective professions. Our team is searching for interns that are passionate, enthusiastic, and willing to learn to work in our Sourcing, Production, Quality Assurance, Export, and Marketing departments in the next weeks. These opportunities are ideal for graduates and aspiring professionals who want to work on business-critical projects and earn valuable experience. The interns will be located in Akuse, the Eastern Region.

Interns are responsible for arranging and paying for their own housing for the duration of the internship.

What You’ll Do:

The interns will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:

• Learn and become acquainted with all elements of the company’s operations.
• Working as a team to design and execute action plans.
• Providing ideas for expanding and improving the business.
• Researching and providing ideas for business-related initiatives or assignments.
• Helping to improve internal procedures.
• Participating in Trainings

Required Skill or Experience

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in food science, food processing, computer engineering, mathematics, agriculture, marketing, communication, logistics, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in the relevant sector is beneficial.
• Understanding of legislation and compliance needs in separate industries.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate with other departments.
• Willingness to study and develop abilities in your chosen field.
• Capability to multitask and perform under duress.
• Capable of paying close attention to detail.
• Able to think creatively.
• Excellent communication abilities and a strong team player.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English.
