Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Plato Consult is looking for a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will influence key business decisions by delivering insights, managing category strategies, and ensuring policy compliance. Your work will directly support the organization’s objectives by aligning procurement initiatives with operational goals. In addition, you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring seamless execution of supply chain plans.

Key Responsibilities

This role is highly interactive and requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement. Your core responsibilities include:

Supply Chain Strategy & Category Management

Collaborate with stakeholders and the Planning & Procurement Analyst to forecast demand and develop annual procurement plans
Monitor performance against targets, ensuring continuous improvement in supply chain outcomes
Apply Category Management best practices, leveraging the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) to unlock value
Drive supply chain management strategies, processes, and governance frameworks to meet organizational targets

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building

Build strong, credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize overall delivery
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in procurement and contracting for Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Communication services
Lead high-value negotiations using innovative commercial models and cost optimization programs

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to sustainable sourcing policies and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) standards
Identify risks, provide recommendations, and implement mitigation strategies in procurement processes

Qualifications & Experience

Plato Consult seeks candidates with a blend of technical expertise and practical experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

First Degree or HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related discipline with a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience
Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., MCIPS) with at least two (2) years post-qualification experience
Experience in Telecoms, Extractive, or FMCG sectors preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP)
Master’s degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is a plus
