Young Leaders Program for Women in Africa (WIA) in 2023
The Women in Africa (WIA) Young Leaders Program 2023 is now accepting applications. A big component of the African revolution will be played by young African women leaders, which is the goal of the WIA Young Leaders initiative.
This year, 10 leaders will gain from a customized training course that will emphasize women’s leadership and future-ready abilities. Participants will receive help from well-known mentors and the chance to have an immersive experience through a business trip to a major global economic hub.
Through this trip, they will obtain access to a top-notch professional network, training, interactions with business leaders, and high visibility at international events.

NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY 200 VICE-INTERNATIONAL CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIPS (UK)
Eligibility
- Available to females between the ages of 25 and 40 (flexibility possible depending on experience level).
- Being either born in or having parents who were born in an African nation.
- Participation in the continent’s growth and social commitment.
- Leadership capabilities (humility, empathy, and resilience).
- Candidates with “self-made” backgrounds will receive further consideration.
Vision for the future of Africa, item number six. - The ability to balance social effect, commercial ethics, and public/private discourse.
The capacity to assume the maximum level of responsibility is number eight. - Powerful persuasion abilities and a desire for partnership.
- Ideally bilingual, Francophone, and Anglophone.
There will be two stages to the selection procedure:
- 12 pre-finalists were chosen based on the file.
- Jury interview with the 10 chosen leaders

Application Deadline
The application deadline is midnight on April 21, 2023. (French time). The program is open to all young African women who support the development of a dynamic, inventive, and inclusive Africa.
