1 . Sport

Our program teams provide a wide range of interests and experience, including coaching professional players, teaching in schools, sports development, and sports treatment. This involves working with governing authorities, mentoring local clubs and national teams, consulting with professional teams and their athletes, and providing scientific support.

2 . Psychology

In the 2021 NSS (National Student Survey), the psychology department at Edge Hill University ranked first in the North West for overall student satisfaction. The department offers a supportive and stimulating learning environment that gives its students the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the twenty-first century.

There are several purpose-built laboratories holding several pieces of technical equipment that are devoted to fostering cutting-edge research. Students are given the necessary training to access these cutting-edge research methodologies.

3 . Biosciences

Edge Hill’s biology and bioscience programs equip you for a variety of careers in which you can have a significant effect. You will be immersed in a vibrant research environment where scholars are producing discoveries in the fields of biomedical science, ecology, taxonomy, and microbiology.

We might invite you to create an animation demonstrating a biological process when you’re not writing lab reports, curate a museum collection, or even accompany us on a field trip when you’re not writing lab reports (paid for by us).
