2023/24 ANU Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship
You should apply for the Australian National University Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship. Applicants who are qualified to enroll or are presently enrolled at the University in the Honours year of an undergraduate degree program offered by the ANU College of Science or ANU College of Health & Medicine, or in a program that offers an equivalent degree at another tertiary institution.
The ANU College of Health and Medicine and the ANU College of Science are providing this scholarship. Mr. Jon Nicholson, in honor of his late father, Dr. Angus Nicholson, has generously funded the scholarship. For all accepted candidates, this award has a maximum value of $10,000 per year.

Criteria for Qualification
For consideration for the Australian National University Angus Nicholson Honours Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below;
- Candidates must be students who are either domestic or foreign nationals.
- Applicants to undergraduate degree programs.
- The prize is open to students taking University-offered undergraduate courses.
- Considering academic achievement
- Students who are enrolled full-time in the Honors program during the semester in which the scholarship is given.
- Exceptional personal success abilities (such as emotional maturity, motivation, persistence, etc.)
- A certified translation of your high school transcript, if it’s not in English, and/or your GRE scores, if applicable.
- Applicants must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent.
- Candidates must possess strong motivation, responsibility, and the ability to work autonomously in an organized manner. They must also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Applicants must already have a full-time program offer from Australian National University in Australia
- A merit-based selection procedure with a focus on leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- The minimum English language requirements of the ANU must be demonstrated by applicants.

This scholarship does not have its own application form. Interested candidates must, however;
- To show interest in a scholarship, send a letter outlining your academic accomplishments and love of science to coursework.scholarships@anu.edu.au
- Also arrange for two references from individuals who are qualified to endorse the application and offer insight into this enthusiasm, and make arrangements for the references to email their reports to courses.scholarships@anu.edu.au
To complete the scholarship application procedure, submit all the necessary paperwork by the deadline listed on the website.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is from the 15th of September until the 30th of November each year.
