The Window Fabricator role involves manufacturing, assembling, and installing aluminium windows and glass systems across projects. You will cut, measure, and glaze glass into frames while ensuring accuracy and high-quality finishes consistently. Additionally, you will install windows, doors, and glass features in both new constructions and existing buildings efficiently.

The role also includes working on custom architectural designs, energy-efficient glazing systems, and standard installations. Furthermore, you will handle repairs, maintenance, and reglazing tasks while contributing to diverse project requirements. This full-time position is based in Swan Hill, serving a broad regional client base.

Job Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble aluminium windows and doors according to project specifications accurately.
  • Cut, measure, and glaze glass into frames while maintaining precision and quality standards consistently.
  • Install windows, doors, and glass systems in new builds and existing properties efficiently.
  • Install glass pool fences, balustrades, shower screens, mirrors, and wardrobe glass features professionally.
  • Perform reglazing, repairs, and maintenance to ensure long-term functionality and durability of installations.
  • Work on custom-engineered glass projects and standard installations across residential and commercial environments.
  • Contribute to energy-efficient solutions, including double-glazed units and thermal break systems, effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in glazing, window fabrication, or installation within construction environments is preferred.
  • Strong measuring, cutting, and assembly skills with attention to detail and workmanship quality consistently demonstrated.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications accurately during fabrication and installation processes.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and project stakeholders.A
  • Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) is preferred for compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • A valid Australian driver’s licence is preferred to support travel across project locations when required.
