WATCH || 12-year-old boy gains admission to the University
It was all shocking and exciting as the at Ghana’s maiden University. The University of Ghana receives the youngest person ever in its history.
12-year-old Viemens Bamfo is the youngest student to ever gain admission to the University of Ghana. His age as student at the tertiary is a big deal because in Ghana the least age has been 18 years. That is taking into account the country’s cycle of education.
The boy was home-schooled by his father. He was withdrawal from school after his lower primary education. Implying, he did not goes through upper primary, Junior and senior high schools. He only sat and passed the Private examination.
The university has given him the chance to offer a course in public administration.
