University of Birmingham Global Masters Scholarship 2023
The University of Birmingham is a highly respected school that has always been ranked as one of the top 100 universities in the world.
University Overview:
The University of Birmingham is a public university for study that is in Edgbaston in the city of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
The University of Birmingham is proud of its long history of removing hurdles to education so that the smartest students can learn and grow to their fullest potential. This award is for foreign students from certain countries who want to study for a taught Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham in the 2023–2024 school year.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the following standards to be eligible.
You must:
- Have applied for a taught Master’s degree at the University of Birmingham UK school and have been given an offer to study there in the 2023–2024 academic year.
- Be ‘domiciled’ in one of the chosen countries. Please look at the list.
- Be considered by the University to be paying school fees from outside the United States.
- You can start a full-time course at the University in September or October 2023 at the University’s UK site.
Programs that are not eligible for the scholarship:
- If you decide to put off the start of your program until September 2024, you won’t be able to get the grant because it’s only for programs that start in September 2023.
- This scholarship is not for students who want to take a course that is only offered through “distance learning.”
- Students who want to go to the Birmingham Business School can’t get this grant, but they can get other MSc and MBA scholarships from the Business School.
- Also, Undergraduate degree programs are not qualified. This includes the MBChB, MEng, MSci, and MPharm programs.
This grant is not open to students at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus.
Eligible countries:
Bangladesh, Cameroon, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, India, Iran, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Process for applying:
Those who apply and meet the above requirements will immediately be given this scholarship.
- To accept the scholarship, you must publicly accept the offer from the University’s Admissions Office by the deadline listed on the offer. This is possible through the postgraduate site.
- To make sure you get the scholarship, you must also pay the normal £2,000 (GBP) admissions deposit by the date specified in your offer letter by the Admissions Office. (In order to be considered for this award, your deposit must be paid by August 31, 23:59 UK time (GMT+1)).

Deadline:
- To ensure scholarship eligibility, apply to your desired school as soon as feasible.
- Candidates must accept a “no-strings-attached” offer by August 31 at 23:59 UK time (GMT+1) (UK time) to receive this grant. This grant won’t apply to candidates who receive offers after this.
- Candidates must “accept” and submit a deposit by the deadlines established by the Admissions Office in their offer letter. This guarantees their Master’s degree and scholarship.
