Arts and Culture
Canadian art and culture are vibrant, and immigrants have played an important role in their development. Surprisingly, over 80,000 newcomers work in technical and professional fields related to arts and culture in Canada.
For example, one out of every four people working as an artisan or craftsperson in the country is an immigrant. Furthermore, 26 percent of overall immigrants work in the fashion and display industries, as well as as creative designers.
