Teacher of Information Communication Needed at Design and Technology Institute

JOB TITLE: TEACHER OF INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT)
Job Purpose:
To teach ICT up to the proficiency level in a way that will enable the students to gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the subject and to be able to use various software applications, especially design programs like AutoCAD so that they are equipped to use them to pursue other avenues of learning or careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Lesson plans for the effective teaching of the ICT courses assigned.
- Supervise Student work and/or Student projects and Course work
- Complete term and other reports on the School Management System when implemented.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- A BA or BSc in Computing or a related subject with a minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience in a institution.
- A teaching certification in addition will be preferred.
- A good knowledge of computing and Information Technology in general is required.
- The students enjoyment of, and competence in, the subject. Orderly classrooms with active participation of students.
- Good development of skills. Up-to-date and good records of work
- Up-to-date Assessment records Involvement in all aspects of school Involvement and Participation in School Appraisal Programs
A good knowledge of computing and Information Technology in general is required Dedication to are the the job, sound control and discipline in the classroom as well as good relations with students are the qualities looked for.
