An exciting opportunity has arisen for an eager and experienced individual to work as a system analyst at the Hywel Dda Out of Hours (OOH) Service. This position will assist the OOH Service with system and process administration, as well as data management.

Duties of Systems Analyst Jobs in the UK:

  • Supervise the maintenance and advancement of the ICT systems and software used to administer the Health Board’s Out of Hours service and the WAST/111 service.
  • System and application functioning can be improved by documenting alterations and establishing appropriate operational policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and carry out the repercussions of policy changes that affect service delivery.
  • The incumbent is responsible for advocating for compliance, communicating it, and assisting with its implementation in partnership with the senior management team.
  • Perform any additional administrative responsibilities that may be required, such as shift distribution, to ensure the efficient operation of the after-hours service.
  • Be accountable for managing and prioritizing your duties to meet rigorous deadlines. To act independently within the scope of the job description. It is handled rather than supervised and functions independently.
  • Provides advice for information management and technology (IM&T) systems. Reports on, implements, and guides the usage of information technology (IT) systems such as Adastra/Power BI or any other IT system that is adapted to the service’s needs.
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational personnel are established to simplify the presentation of instructional information that will aid in service delivery.
