Job Title: Accounts Officer

Job Description

We are looking for meticulous, analytical, and motivated individuals to join our finance team as Accounts Officers. You will gain hands-on experience in cash management, reconciliations, and financial reporting, contributing directly to the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Officer, you will support our financial operations through a variety of essential tasks:

Review and process petty cash requests submitted by our regional offices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
Reconcile petty cash expenses from various regions to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
Accurately record all petty cash transactions and related expenses using QuickBooks accounting software.
Monitor shipment and transaction activities to ensure financial entries align with operational data.
Assist with daily banking activities, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and vendor payments.
Support the preparation of periodic financial reports and contribute to internal and external audit processes.
Help maintain organized financial files and ensure adherence to company accounting policies.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Completion of National Service, preferably in a role with accounting or finance exposure.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of numerical accuracy.
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is a distinct advantage.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a proactive eagerness to learn.
