RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER JOB AT A RURAL BANK
A reputable Rural Bank in Ashanti Region is looking for qualified applicants to occupy the following positions: RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- First of all, Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
- Then, Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
- Also, Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
- Furthermore, Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
- Moreover, Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.
- Additionally, Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
- Not only that but also, Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
- Afterwards, Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.
- Finally, Supervise compliance officers and team.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law with five years work experience.
- MBA or Master’s degree with two years work experience.
- Preferably, experience in rural banking with two years in similar position in the Compliance department. Strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to have a highly strategic focus, whilst dealing competently with operational matters.
