Request Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst (Modeling and Audit) to join its financial risk and audit practice in Chicago, Illinois. This is a high-impact role focused on reviewing, validating, and auditing complex financial models used across credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and stress testing.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute quantitative reviews, validations, and audits of financial risk models and tools
- Review conceptual soundness, data, methodology, code, testing, and implementation of models
- Support audits and validations related to credit, market, liquidity, and stress testing risk
- Communicate complex technical findings clearly to audit management and business stakeholders
- Perform audit planning, testing, control evaluation, and documentation in line with IIA standards
- Draft audit reports outlining key risks, findings, root causes, and business impact
- Perform continuous monitoring of model risk and identify emerging patterns and trends
- Challenge existing risk management practices and recommend stronger controls
- Support the development of audit procedures, templates, and automated testing using data analytics
- Coach and support junior team members in financial risk and audit practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field strongly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in model risk management, quantitative audit, or similar roles
- Experience working in financial services and with regulators such as the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, or the Federal Reserve
- Strong knowledge of derivatives, credit/counterparty risk, and stress testing models
- Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and programming (Python, C++, Java, or similar)
- Strong understanding of audit standards and frameworks (IIA GIA, AICPA, COSO)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Eligibility for an H-1B transfer in the United States is acceptable
