Biscuit and Flour manufacturing company invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the position of QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER
JOB DESCRIPTION
The QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER will perform the following responsibilities.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Develop sampling plans for quality purpose Develop SOPs and infrastructure requirements for laboratory and optimal calibration standards in line with GLP requirements
- Interpret and review shop drawings.
- Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements.
- Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
- Note and report on work that does not meet requirements
- Educate workers on the required standards
- Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Degree Biochemistry, Food Science, Chemistry, Biological in Science, or other related sciences.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three (3) years
- Experience in Biscuit and Flour manufacturing company will be an added advantage
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in business administration may be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Good technical and IT skills.
