POSITION: Office Assistant

Job Summary 

We are actively seeking an Office Assistant to become part of our expanding team. Duties

  • Carry out administrative tasks such as typing, organizing files, and filling out basic forms.
  • Use office equipment such as copiers, scanners, telephones and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other typical office machines.
  • Act as the office receptionist, welcoming visitors.
  • Duplicate, organize, and store documents connected to workplace activities, financial dealings, and additional issues.
  • Draft letters, memos, forms, and reports based on verbal or written guidance.
  • Organize incoming mail and distribute it to the correct department or person, and handle outgoing mail.
  • Manage filing systems either by hand or digitally.
  • Oversee calendars and organize appointment schedules.
  • Prepare the office for meetings.
  • Make sure the office is tidy and maintained.
  • Carries out additional tasks as directed.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • HND in Management & Secretaryship, Accounting, Marketing, or similar disciplines
  • Finished National Service
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office
  • Capability to operate autonomously.
  • Keen focus on details and capacity for efficient self-organization.
  • Outstanding time management abilities.
  • Outstanding writing abilities, proficient in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Adaptability and the ability to focus on new responsibilities.
