The Good Roll Foundation and The Good Toilet operate as the CSR wing and a Social Enterprise respectively under The Good Roll Africa.
The Foundation through its operations provides basic amenities such as toilet facilities, menstrual hygiene kits (for school girls), soaps, and detergent for schools in deprived communities.
The Good Toilet on the other hand develops various toilet designs based on anticipated community needs in developing countries with a focus on Ghana. These facilities are carefully tailored for households and communities without said facilities.
As part of the Company’s plans to expand beyond the frontiers of Ghana through the development and construction of sanitation and Wash facilities in line with SDG 3 and 6;
The Good Roll Foundation / The Good Toilet is in search of the services of; Operations Manager
The potential Applicants should possess the following skills;
- 5 years previous experience in similar positions
- Must not be more than 40years
- Fluent in English and a local language
- Able to use Ms-Office application tools
- Resident in Accra and its nearby suburbs.
Other Required Skills
- Certifications in project management and knowledge in building construction is an advantages.
- Exhibits Leadership in developing and implementing policies.
- Ensures effective communication with Board members and keeps them engaged.
- Performs Operations and administrative functions in accordance with relevant laws and Board policies.
- Ensures the efficient and effective functioning of the foundation through delegation to the staff and outside service providers.
- Fundraising by expanding strategies and cultivating new approaches.
- Produces high-quality deliverables (e.g., reports, policy papers, grant proposals, strategic plans)
- Is a strong and persuasive representative of TGR foundations/The Good Toilet outside stakeholders (e.g., policymakers, partner organizations, media)
