POSITION: Civil Engineer

Position Overview
Reports to: Manager of Operations
Objectives
The suitable applicant will be designing, developing, and constructing a diverse range of physical and natural projects from start to finish. He will verify the feasibility of each project by assessing local and environmental effects and ensuring they can be finished on schedule within budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Performing site assessments and thorough geographical surveys to collect crucial information for planning and design purposes.
- Developing comprehensive plans for infrastructure elements, including highways, sewage systems, water distribution networks, and structures.
- Monitoring the advancement of building projects, making sure they adhere to timelines and financial limits.
- Making certain that every project adheres to local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards to secure required permits and approvals.
- Supervising construction operations to guarantee quality requirements are fulfilled and resolving any problems that occur.
- Creating financial reports, budgets, and cost projections for projects.
- Applying and upholding regulations on location for workers and the public.
- Keeping precise records of project advancements, alterations, and finished tasks.
- Incorporating eco-friendly methods and creative ideas into design and building procedures to improve environmental outcomes.
Required Qualification & Experience
- Qualification or HND in Civil Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience working as a civil engineer.
- Having experience with a real estate firm will be a valuable benefit.
- Outstanding communication abilities and proficiency in negotiation.
- Expertise in civil engineering concepts, methods, and equipment.
- Capability to design, implement, and manage projects from start to finish.
- Capacity to focus intently on specifics.
- Capability to collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledgeable about local construction codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to guide teams and oversee construction operations.
- Receptive to emerging technologies, creative methods.
- Capacity to respond favourably to change.
- Dedication to upholding superior safety regulations
