POSITION: Data Analyst

Job Description

The Data Analyst will be tasked with validating and maintaining the quality of the data within the database. He/She will assist the traceability country coordinator in obtaining complete data for all farmers (Mapping and Census) and ensure 100% digitalization of volume.

Main Duties

  • Accountable for all information concerning farmers and their quantities in the Master database.
  • Ensure the data’s integrity in the database (Revise, Quality assessment, Rectification)
  • Accountable for the complete accessibility and dependability of the data for both internal and public reporting.
  • Accountable for retrieving data from the K-App for analysis and making decisions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the amounts submitted in the K-App
  • Help the national traceability coordinator execute all traceability policies.
  • Gathering and handling data:
  • Collect, sanitize, and prepare data from different sources.
  • Guarantee precision, thoroughness, and dependability of data.
  • Employ statistical techniques and instruments to examine extensive datasets.
  • Recognize trends, patterns, and insights that can guide business choices.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden connections.
  • Generate visual displays of information using charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Convey results clearly to stakeholders without a technical background.
  • Create regular reports to inform stakeholders about essential metrics and performance indicators.
  • Utilize databases to access and modify data as required.
  • Work together with diverse teams, such as business analysts, IT specialists, and management, to grasp data-related needs.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Statistics or Quantitative Analysis.
  • 3–5 years of experience in any position connected to the cocoa supply chain will be a favorable asset.
  • Further studies in Data Analytics provide an additional benefit.
  • Familiarity with analytical/statistical tools (Stata, R, advanced Excel, Python)
  • Strong skills in software programming and app development are a valuable asset.
  • Familiarity with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in data management and handling extensive data, with a comprehensive understanding of traceability within our supply chain.
  • Capability to inspire and function effectively in high-pressure situations, self-motivated, diplomatic, dependable, and honest.
  • Skill to strategize, organize, and guide to obtain outcomes.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language is an advantage.
  • Expertise in MS Office software
  • Available to travel 50% of the time to rural regions.
