POSITION: ESG Policy Consultant
Job Summary
A respected firm based in Kwesitenten seeks qualified individual consultants or consulting companies to show their interest in offering consultancy services for the development of three important ESG-related policies:
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations
- Policy for Engaging Stakeholders and Customers
- Complaints Handling Policy
Duties and Responsibilities
The advisor will:
- Evaluate existing operational procedures by engaging in discussions with employees and management.
- Engage in stakeholder consultations when suitable.
- Evaluate policy content by comparing it to applicable ESG standards and leading industry practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to draft the three policies.
- Conclude policies utilizing feedback and offer clear implementation instructions.
Anticipated Outputs
- Preliminary and completed editions of the three policies.
- Guidance for implementing policies
- Session for validation and debriefing with company executives
Required Skills or Experience
Candidates must show:
- At least 5 years of experience in creating corporate policies related to ESG.
- Showed understanding of ESG frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting ESG policies and engaging stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and business environment in Ghana is beneficial.
- Outstanding skills in writing, facilitation, and developing policies.
