POSITION: Senior Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other amenities after they have been cleaned by the Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, confirm room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms. Assist the Housekeeping management in handling everyday operations. Serve as a liaison, coordinating the work of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and handle any concerns with incompatible rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, disseminate, and communicate modifications to room allocations. Communicate difficulties to the next shift. Complete all essential documentation.
Job Description
- Help management with hiring, training, scheduling, reviewing, counselling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching personnel.
- Follow all business policies and procedures regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete all safety training and certifications.
- Ensure that uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional; ensure the security of private information; and secure corporate assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with corporate standards; anticipate and handle guests’ service needs; assist those with disabilities; and thank guests sincerely.
- Communicate with others in clear and professional language. Develop and maintain strong working connections with others; listen to and address other employees’ issues. Ensure compliance with quality objectives and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without aid, or more than 55 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related apparatus across sloped and rough terrain. Bending, twisting, tugging, and stooping are all methods for reaching overhead and below the knees.
- Stand, sit, kneel, or stroll for an extended period of time throughout a work shift.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of different sizes and weights, which necessitates fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Work-related information is entered and located utilizing computers and/or point-of-sale systems. Read and visually check information in a variety of forms (including small print).
- Perform other acceptable job duties as directed by supervisors.
