POSITION: Supply Chain Manager

Our ongoing expansion in West Africa creates an exciting opportunity for a strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead our Shea procurement and logistics operations. This role directly supports our growth strategy while advancing our sustainability mission, “Where Life Grows.”
You will organize and optimize the end-to-end Shea supply chain, from sourcing and tolling to logistics and sustainability partnerships. Your work will strengthen our regional footprint and enhance relationships with local suppliers, all under the guidance of senior supply chain leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass the full supply chain lifecycle:
- Lead Shea procurement activities, including crop forecasting, contract negotiation, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Manage large-scale tolling operations with industrial partners across the region.
- Plan and execute logistics strategies covering warehousing, road transport, and sea freight.
- Implement and continuously improve quality and food safety standards with local tolling partners.
- Maintain precise stock reporting and inventory accuracy.
- Partner with suppliers to implement Bunge’s sustainability and ethical sourcing programs.
- Monitor Shea market dynamics and provide regular insights to senior management.
- Identify and propose innovative supply chain improvements for greater efficiency.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and results.
Your Profile and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in agro-commodities or food processing sectors.
- Strong understanding of technical processes, quality assurance, and food safety principles.
- Proficiency in both English and French (verbal and written).
- Willingness to travel frequently within West Africa.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and engage effectively with specialists and senior leaders.
