POSITION: Driver
Main Duties
- Operate and maintain company vehicles safely while adhering to local and international traffic laws.
- Convey products, tools, and team members to and from designated sites promptly and effectively.
- Conduct vehicle checks and fundamental upkeep, notifying of any problems quickly.
- Devise and adhere to the most effective paths for every journey to guarantee timely arrival.
- Transport and store items or equipment as required, ensuring their safe management and secure placement.
- Maintain a strong standard of customer service and professionalism during interactions with clients and coworkers.
- Maintain precise records of mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle upkeep.
- Follow safety guidelines and emergency protocols, such as first aid and crisis management.
- Make sure that all necessary vehicle paperwork, including licenses, insurance, and registration, is current and valid.
- Help in arranging transportation timetables and collaborating with logistics personnel.
- Notify about any accidents, injuries, or traffic infractions and collaborate with the company and law enforcement officials.
- Adhere to company regulations and standards regarding vehicle utilization and behaviour expectations.
- Work together with logistics and supply chain departments to enhance transportation processes.
- Remain informed about local traffic and road situations that could impact transportation timetables.
Prerequisites and Specifications
- Secondary school diploma or similar qualification.
- A legitimate driver’s license for the category of vehicle to be driven.
- 3 Years of expertise as a professional chauffeur.
- Pristine driving history with no significant accidents or traffic infractions.
- Awareness of domestic and global traffic laws.
- Robust communication and social skills.
- Focus on precision and a dedication to safety.
- Capacity to manage different kinds of freight and gear.
- Knowledge of essential vehicle upkeep.
- Robust problem-solving skills and flexibility.
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina for extended periods on the road.
- Proficiency in GPS and navigation systems.
- Skill in local languages and an additional language enhances international driving capabilities.
- Robust skills in organization and time management.
- A pledge to uphold professional standards and ethical practices.
