POSITION: Logistics Coordinator
JOB OVERVIEW
The Logistics Coordinator is accountable to the Logistics Officer and guarantees efficient logistics, supply chain, fleet, asset, and administrative oversight in support of the SHARE Project. The position entails organizing, coordinating, and supervising procurement, inventory, and safety/security, while collaborating closely with the Project Manager, Finance, and Program teams.
MAIN DUTIES
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management (50%): Manages procurement, vendor partnerships, fleet operations, asset oversight, and warehouse coordination to ensure prompt, compliant, and economical delivery of goods/services, while keeping precise records and aiding in program execution.
- Administration (20%): Manages the safeguarding and organization of procurement, asset, fleet, and warehouse paperwork; monitors orders, coordinates employee transportation, and guarantees that effective logistics systems are established.
- Rehabilitation Project Management (10%): Oversees technical and scheduling elements of rehabilitation initiatives, collaborating with consultants/contractors and delivering consistent updates to management.
- Safety and Security (10%): Oversees security personnel, implements safety measures, observes local security situations, participates in INGO meetings, and organizes evacuation processes if necessary.
- Team Management (5%): Develops the logistics team (Drivers and cleaners), conducts ongoing training sessions, ensures clear communication, and finalizes performance evaluations.
- Additional Responsibilities (5%): Carries out extra tasks as designated to assist in program and office functioning.

- Relationship Management: Cultivates robust connections with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
CONNECTIONS/IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal: The Project Team and Country Personnel.
- External: Suppliers, advisors, subcontractors, governmental departments, and service organizations.
Required Skills or Experience
- Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in management, logistics, administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of logistics/procurement experience at a national or international scale.
- Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities; capacity to perform under stress with honesty and meticulousness; team leadership and troubleshooting skills; expertise in Microsoft Office; understanding of procurement processes and fleet oversight; awareness of safety/security administration.
- Languages: Proficient in English and regional languages.
