POSITION: Continuous Improvement Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum Relevant Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing excellence, lean office management, or a comparable position.

Nestlé is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager at our Nestlé Business Services Office, responsible for boosting organizational efficiency and effectiveness through process enhancements, workflow optimization, promoting a continuous improvement culture, and developing a robust NCE mindset. You will oversee continuous improvement initiatives within the organization, consistently aiming to simplify, standardize, and digitize processes for improved operational efficiency, including the team’s methods of operation.

Your Duties:

  • Creates an engaged and knowledgeable local Continuous Improvement Community of Practice:
  • Create a Community of Performance Acceleration Representatives and ensure its effective Governance;
  • Recognizes and Distributes Local Performance Enhancement Best Practices, Success Cases, and Project Insights that may apply to other NBS Centers and/or IBS.
  • Organizes and leads local Performance Acceleration events, including PA training sessions, Improvement discussions, Acceleration visits, PA Recognition events, as well as Process mapping and Discovery and Transformation workshops;

Project Management Practices

  • Establish the Project Management Office framework at the center level to guarantee timely and budget-compliant execution of the projects.
  • Collaborate closely with E2E and market teams to guarantee that all anticipated project deliverables are achieved punctually and with quality. Create essential project deliverables, such as Project Charter and High-Level Project Plan, and oversee the creation of the Business Case.

Process Mapping and Enhancement

  • Identify Key Focus Areas, Transform Processes, and Manage Complex Enhancement Initiatives
  • Comprehend Client Requirements and Challenges;
  • Suggest desired areas for enhancement (Cost / Benefit)
  • Mapping processes (CURRENT STATE and FUTURE STATE
  • Holding meetings to pinpoint gaps and chances for enhancing processes.
  • Expertise in solutions aimed at: enhancing productivity, digitizing services, and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Project management and leadership, along with indicators for ongoing enhancement.
  • Reducing waste through Lean principles

What Contributes to Your Success

  • At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement/Lean/DMAIC initiatives.
  • Holds a DMAIC Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Hands-on experience in Business Process Model using tools like Bizagi, Vision, or equivalent (10 sessions)
  • Capability to recognize and address root causes of pain points in procedures and create opportunities for enhancement.
  • Expertise in automation technologies like robotic processes that result in measurable productivity and/or business value improvements.

Excellent presentation abilities

  • Capability to create project documentation utilizing Microsoft Office tools skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Robust organizational abilities and skills in conducting workshops.
  • Cultivated coaching abilities
  • Skills for effective communication
