Biscuit and Flour manufacturing company invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the position of LINE SUPERVISOR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The LINE SUPERVISOR will perform the following responsibilities.
- Supervises the daily activities (pre-start up, during operations and after-operations); sees to it that these are directed towards the attainment of Production Department goals and objectives of producing quality products required at least cost.
- Maximise raw material yield in order to hit production volume objective by systematically controlling material wastage.
- Ensure that the sanitation of the line is well implemented and effective.
- All other jobs as maybe assigned to him by Production Manager.
- Enforce safety regulations.
- Perform line walks to ensure standardized work is being followed.
- Plan work schedules and assign duties to staff.
- Perform quality checks on equipment and products.
- Collaborate with workers and managers to solve problems.
- Explain work orders to employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Degree in any related field
- Basic computer skills: Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, Database Software.
- Requires a flexible schedule and some weekend work.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years
- Experience in Biscuit and Flour manufacturing company will be an added advantage
