Purpose of the Position:
To manage information in sponsorship systems about registered children’s health, education, livelihoods, and other cluster projects, as well as to verify compliance with the standards and partnership requirements in order to contribute to the well-being of children and their communities.
Major responsibilities
Data Management
- Capture daily child monitoring and participation information in the Horizon Hope application, ensuring that all registered child information is electronically saved and accessible to stakeholders.
- Use systems and mechanisms to examine and validate the accuracy and completeness of the data and information received from volunteers and securely maintained in the database, such that functional quality control assurance exists at the cluster level.
Management of Sponsorship KPIs
- Ensure proper RC management by monitoring sponsorship systems (RC growths, RC (Annual and Semi-Annual) Monitoring, Reactivations, Drops, Replacements, etc.) and communications items (APR and Greetings Cards, Intro Letters, Sponsor Letters, Sponsor Queries, Gift Notification (GN), Farewell Letters) to ensure good coordination with support offices, sponsors, and the GC.
- Timely transmission of RC deaths (by Horizon Hope application, phone call, and email) while adhering to all protocols for improved accountability to sponsors. Ensure that all support office and sponsor queries are processed in Horizon Hope within the specified timeframe.
- Ensure that the processing of RC photos and media is completed in accordance with standards and on time for support offices.
- Ensure that all partnership initiatives, audit recommendations, and evaluation activities are carried out on time as specified.
Data and system security.
- Ensure sponsorship system security, privacy, and data transmission in accordance with standards and procedures, in collaboration with the ICT and sponsorship systems coordinator.
- Perform frequent backups of all sponsorship data and electronic files, including kid and community material, to ensure that the AP follows World Vision IT regulations and that data and sponsorship equipment are available, safely stored, and maintained.
- Doing periodic maintenance, sponsoring system updates, and doing basic IT technical activities such as scanning drives before utilizing them on the system to ensure that the service is reliable, and the hard drives are virus free.
- Support the upgrading of all Horizon Mobile devices in the cluster, and make sure the most recent version of the APK is installed.
- Ensure that the management of RC files at the cluster level adheres to standards.
Capacity building in sponsorship
- Participate in orientation, basic training, and provide updates on Horizon Hope processes with staff (as permitted and necessary) and community volunteers to ensure they are aware of system-compatible changes and requirements.
- Support the training of community volunteers on how to use Horizon mobile devices to acquire RC data.

Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Technological Skills, and Experience
A combination of formal or self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training can help someone learn the following:
- University Diploma, Higher National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Statistics, Social Studies, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline.
- Proficient in ICT
- Two years of experience in data collection, analysis, and management
