POSITION: Accountant

Responsibilities
- With general oversight, comprehends the organization’s business systems, processes, and controls, including relevant policies and procedures about the assigned location and department.
- Compiles financial reports and progressively intricate accounting analyses utilizing associated spreadsheets or software input, while identifying and addressing issues.
- Comprehends the company’s organizational framework.
- Creates and submits journal entries for financial activities.
- Investigates and addresses fundamental accounting problems and transactions, including associated internal controls.
- Requires finishing an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a similar field and at least nine (9) months of experience in accounting-related positions.
- Familiarity with US GAAP or specific national accounting standards is necessary.
The job position is designed for growth and aims to familiarize employees with moderately complex elements of general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial software, along with intermediate levels of understanding of industry and company knowledge.
