Your Identity
We seek a skilled Group Consolidation Accountant (Corporate Controller) to become part of our finance team. The position is located in Ghana but reports straight to the Fido Finance team in Israel and will oversee the creation of consolidated financial statements for the whole Fido Group. This position is crucial for an individual with extensive consolidation experience and a thorough knowledge of credit and lending processes.
- A professional membership, such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ICA, or equivalent, is necessary.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar business discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate controllership or group consolidation is a significant benefit.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating consolidated financial statements.
- Experience in the edit, lending, or financial sector
- Thorough understanding of IFRS
- Experience in multinational or multi-entity settings.
- Outstanding Excel and financial modelling abilities.
- Effective communication abilities and capacity to collaborate across functions.
Actions You Will Take
- Compile monthly consolidated financial statements for various jurisdictions.
- Guarantee adherence to IFRS and internal organizational regulations.
- Collaborate with regional accountants in every nation.
- Supervise reconciliations between companies.
- Assist in financial analysis across the group and reporting to the board.
- Assist in enhancing processes and automating group reporting.
- Support in accounting issues pertaining to credit offerings and loan collections
