POSITION: Admin Assistant

Right To Play is seeking an Admin Assistant to join our Ghana Country Office. If you hold a Diploma in Business Administration, HR, or a related field, bring at least two years of office administration experience, preferably within an NGO, and want to contribute to transforming children’s lives across Ghana, this role offers the perfect opportunity to combine professional growth with social impact.

Your Mission: Enable Efficient Office Operations

You will provide administrative and HR support to ensure efficient office operations and effective delivery of People and Culture processes. Your work will span recruitment coordination, onboarding, documentation, records management, office administration, inventory control, and asset tracking. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will keep our country office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans HR support, office administration, inventory management, and asset tracking. Here is what you will tackle:

HR Support & Employee Lifecycle Management (30%)

  • You will support HR processes and employee lifecycle management, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, documentation, and staff records management.
  • Ensuring timely and compliant HR operations protects both the organization and our employees.

Office Administration & Support Services (30%)

  • You will provide administrative and office support services, including coordinating meetings, maintaining filing systems, and supporting project documentation.
  • Managing petty cash and responding to staff inquiries ensures smooth office functioning day to day.

Store Inventory Management (10%)

  • You will manage the country office store inventory, tracking supplies and ensuring availability when staff need them.

Asset & Inventory Systems Management (25%)

  • You will manage office assets and inventory systems, ensuring accurate records, proper storage, maintenance, and tracking of equipment and documentation.

Other Duties (5%)

  • You will perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and team spirit.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a candidate with the right qualifications, experience, and competencies. Here is what you need:

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, HR, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in office administration, preferably within an NGO or INGO.
  • Experience supporting HR processes and office operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic financial and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English plus relevant local languages.
