Job Title: Software Developer
Company Overview
Kudi Systems Ltd is a fintech company in Ghana, developing cutting-edge digital payment solutions via our main platform, SPPay. In order to expedite our product development and enhance our engineering capabilities, we are looking for a Software Engineer to become part of our team. The chosen candidate will take charge of designing, creating, and sustaining our web applications and APIs that drive Kudi’s payment solutions.
This is a combined position (primarily remote) that involves some in-person teamwork at our headquarters: C/146/3 Esseefo Road, Asylum Down, Accra, Ghana.
The position is a full-time job with a contract that can be renewed every 6 months.
What You Will Accomplish
- Create, build, and uphold scalable backend services and APIs utilizing PHP (Laravel).
- Create and sustain responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces with Vue.js.
- Work together with product, design, and QA teams to provide new features and improvements.
- Connect with external APIs and payment systems to enhance the SPPay ecosystem.
- Craft clear, efficient, and thoroughly documented code adhering to industry standards.
- Perform code evaluations, testing, and troubleshooting to guarantee quality and dependability.
- Take part in discussions on technical architecture and engage in sprint planning activities.
- Operate autonomously and handle outputs efficiently in a remote-oriented setting.
- Keep records for code, functionalities, and integrations.
What We Seek
- Finished higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related area.
- Finished National Service.
- 2–3 years of work experience in software development.
- Expertise in PHP (Laravel), Vue.js, and MySQL.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication methods (OAuth, JWT), and version control systems (Git).
- Awareness of contemporary DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (e.g., DigitalOcean, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub).
- Thorough focus on specifics and dedication to producing clear, manageable code.
- Familiarity with fintech or the development of payment systems is advantageous.
