POSITION: Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager, under the Regional Manager, plays a vital role in enhancing the global sales team’s performance and achieving revenue goals. They lead in guaranteeing client satisfaction and work together locally and throughout the larger organization to build sustainable networks and relationships that span functions and entities, encompassing external partners and distributors. They also manage the flow of communication between the client and the company.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Achieve Regional Sales, Profit, and Operational Objectives
  • Guaranteeing that optimal commercial practices are maintained consistently.
  • Attainment of yearly sales objectives encompassing revenue and pipeline expansion.
  • Proactively create, assist, and implement strategies aimed at competitor offerings.
  • Work together with the wider Wenco business stakeholders to transform a larger share of opportunities.
  • Build and foster trustworthy connections with essential internal and external clients.
  • Tasked with developing the Wenco brand in the area by attending trade shows, obtaining chances for collaborative paper writing, presenting at events, and fostering strong client relationships.

Ongoing Enhancement of Customer Support

  • Encourage a customer-oriented approach, creativity in products, services, and methods of engaging with internal clients that provide value to both the customer and Wenco.
  • Enhance customer perception by effectively showcasing Wenco and its products in the marketplace.
  • Respect customers, actively seek their insights, foster trusting relationships with them, and promote customer-centricity among all staff and contractors.
  • Handle and address customer complaints efficiently and promptly.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Consistently enhance understanding of Wenco products and associated mining processes.
  • Collect and convey market and competitor insights.
  • Understand and implement the Miller Heiman sales approach as advocated by Wenco.
  • Possess a solid grasp of how information technology can enhance safety, productivity, maintenance, and management in mining operations.

Experience and Expertise

  • Over 5 years of experience in a sales role in the mining or mining services sector.
  • Proven ability to sell premium solutions in a mining and industrial setting.
  • Technical expertise, possessing experience in engineering, mining, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated capability to persuade cross-functional teams without having formal power.
  • Skills in ERP for sales at an intermediate level

  • At ease speaking to large audiences from diverse backgrounds.
  • Dynamic, passionate, outcome-focused
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
  • Comprehension of contemporary business frameworks
