POSITION: Internal Auditor

Position Overview
The Internal Auditor will evaluate the efficiency of internal controls, assess risk management practices, and verify adherence to relevant financial regulations. This position is essential in reinforcing the organization’s dedication to integrity, responsibility, and outstanding performance.
Main Duties
- Perform internal audits throughout various departments and procedures.
- Assess and analyze financial processes for effectiveness and adherence to regulations.
- Assess risks and suggest enhancements in internal control mechanisms.
- Create detailed audit reports and communicate results to management.
- Confirm adherence to internal guidelines, sector norms, and legal obligations.
- Work together with management to enhance operational and financial procedures.
Required Qualification or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an associated discipline.
- Preferred qualifications include professional certification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, or an equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in internal auditing, ideally in the finance/microfinance industry.
- Robust analytical abilities and problem-solving expertise.
- Outstanding skills in communication and report composition.
- Elevated moral principles, honesty, and meticulousness.
