POSITION: Sales Associate
ABOUT THE POSITION
The position is accountable for facilitating the seamless daily functioning of the store by providing outstanding customer service, upholding product presentations, and adhering to set standard operating protocols.
CRUCIAL TASKS & OBLIGATIONS
- Interact with clients to grasp their requirements and suggest appropriate items.
- Help customers locate items, offer details, and assist with buying choices.
- Address customer questions in-person, online, or via phone.
- Establish and nurture robust customer connections to promote repeat sales.
- Address customer issues swiftly and with professionalism.
- Keep a thorough understanding of product offerings, features, and advantages.
- Boost sales by emphasizing product characteristics, advantages, and special offers.
- Verify adherence to company guidelines, encompassing cash management and returns.
- Maintain accurate and proper documentation for authorized creditors.
- Accept and examine all incoming goods to the store and compare with the stock request and the delivery note.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconcile them with the ERP under the guidance of the Retail Manager.
- Observe competitor actions and relay information to the Retail Manager.
- Preparing and tagging items before their shipment.
- Organize and tag items in the storage area to ensure quick recognition and ease of access.
- Foster a supportive team environment by assisting coworkers when necessary.
- Professionally embody the brand and consistently maintain company values.
- Affixing and revising price labels on products in the store.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the store and on the shop floor at all times.
- Sustaining ISO documentation and record management
- Carry out additional tasks as instructed.
OHSE DUTIES
- Familiarity with and compliance with all TAGG’s OHS&E protocols
- Adhere to all safe work protocols, regulations, and guidelines.
- Evaluation of Risk
- Risk recognition and documentation
- Understanding of the safe operation of all tools and equipment as necessary.
Required Skills or Experience
REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A Higher National Diploma in an applicable area.
- At least 2 (two) years of experience in sales

The individual in this position must exhibit the following skills:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer skills such as utilizing database marketing and the Microsoft Office Suite.
