POSITION: Forklift Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a Forklift Coordinator to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of products and materials within the warehouse or distribution facilities. This position involves operating forklifts, managing inventory, and collaborating with warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives. We are looking for a very organized and effective individual who will offer coordination assistance to our production company. The chosen applicant will guarantee smooth daily operations, keep precise records, and deliver outstanding outcomes.
Obligations and Tasks
- Handle forklift machinery: Safely manage forklifts to transport materials and goods throughout the warehouse or distribution center.
- Manage inventory transfer: Organize and oversee the transfer of inventory to guarantee effective storage and access.
- Keep the warehouse orderly: Guarantee that the warehouse remains tidy, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
- Cooperate with warehouse employees: Partner with warehouse personnel to reach operational objectives and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Supervise stock quantities: Keep an eye on stock levels and notify of any inconsistencies or problems.
- Lastly, guarantee safety adherence: Follow safety guidelines and protocols to avoid accidents and injuries.
Required Skills or Experience
Credentials & Abilities
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in machinery operations or a related area.
- Over 2 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing firm.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Outstanding abilities in communication, organization, and resolving issues.
- Capacity to preserve confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
- A licensed forklift operator certification
- Understanding of accounting concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Ghanaian tax legislation and rules.
Requirements
- Forklift operation abilities: The Capability to operate forklifts safely.
- Focus on precision: Maintain correct inventory tracking and secure processes.
- Physical endurance: The capability to operate in a high-paced warehouse setting.
Group effort: Work with others to reach operational objectives. - Fundamental computer competencies: Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and additional software.
Working Conditions
- Warehouse or distribution facility: Operate in a lively, quick-moving setting.
- Physical requirements: Might involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended durations.
Hierarchy of Reporting
- Reports directly to the General Manager/Operations Manager (Bel-Aqua)
