The Opportunity

We are hiring a results-driven Sales Supervisor to lead our team at our Spintex location. This pivotal role requires a leader from the building materials or construction sector with proven frontline sales management expertise. You will direct the sales team, nurture client relationships, oversee performance, and ensure we consistently meet our ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

As the Sales Supervisor, you will oversee all critical sales operations. Your primary duties will include:

First, you will directly supervise, mentor, and support our sales representatives and showroom staff.
You will establish clear daily and weekly sales targets and actively monitor the team’s progress toward achieving them.
A core responsibility involves training the sales team on comprehensive product knowledge and effective customer engagement techniques.
Furthermore, you will maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
You will also handle escalated customer complaints professionally to ensure complete satisfaction and service recovery.
Additionally, you will support the maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and manage customer follow-up processes.
You will conduct regular field visits to retailers, wholesalers, and project sites to track market trends and competitor activities.
You will analyze customer purchasing patterns to recommend effective sales strategies and product mix adjustments.
Finally, you will ensure optimal product display and stock arrangement, monitor inventory movement, and prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of education and hands-on experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Three to five years of solid sales experience, ideally within the building materials, construction, or a related fast-moving goods industry.
A minimum of one to two years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
Proven ability to lead a team, solve problems, and motivate others toward goal achievement.
A strong understanding of market dynamics and a relentless focus on target achievement.
The capacity to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
