POSITION: National Service Personnel
Job Description
As a National Service Personnel in the Sales & Marketing Team, you will acquire practical experience in the building materials sector while assisting the company’s sales and marketing activities. This position aims to offer hands-on experience in market research, customer interaction, sales support, and promotional efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Executives to aid in business expansion and enhance brand visibility. Ghana job opportunities job listing.
Main Duties
- Support the Sales & Marketing team with daily tasks, reporting, and coordination.
- Assist in customer relationship management by addressing inquiries, pursuing leads, and keeping client databases updated.
- Help in creating sales proposals, quotes, and presentations.
- Perform fundamental market research and competitor evaluation to aid in strategy formulation.
- Engage in showroom/branch tasks such as product presentation, inventory inspections, and sales promotions.
- Assistance in organizing and implementing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events.
- Assist in creating sales and marketing reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Ensure accurate records of sales orders and associated transactions are kept.
- Work together with internal teams (logistics, finance, manufacturing) to guarantee efficient order handling.
- Any additional responsibilities given by the Sales & Marketing Supervisor/Manager.
Qualification & Experience
- A recent graduate qualified for National Service (ideally in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or a related area).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fundamental understanding of sales and marketing concepts.
- Adept in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Robust skills in organization and multitasking.
- Enthusiasm for learning and the capacity to perform in a rapid work setting.
- Collaborative individual with an optimistic and initiative-driven approach.
