POSITION: Sales Manager

Job Summary

In the role of Sales Manager for the Mining division in Ghana, your focus will be on fostering customer relationships and discovering new growth opportunities. This position is entirely remote since we do not operate from a physical office. You will work alongside the sales team, enhance the Element brand, and travel frequently to engage with customers and support exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with current customers to uphold strong relationships.
  • Manage sales operations for the Mining division in Ghana;
  • Travel often to meet customers, directly addressing their needs and serving as the main contact to ensure quick responses to inquiries, issues, and requests;
  • Promote the Element brand through marketing campaigns and participation in exhibitions;
  • Analyze market trends, plan product usage, and collect data on installed equipment in line with ERP requirements;
  • Assist in preparing the annual sales budget, implementing strategies for strategic planning, account management, and business development to achieve sales goals and increase market share;
  • Update sales and customer information in the CRM system, working closely with the sales team;
  • Collaborate with the Operations department to guarantee smooth product delivery and customer satisfaction;
  • Handle quotations, orders, and sales contracts in partnership with the order desk and product support teams;
  • Keep track of customer receivables and follow up as necessary;
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and suggest strategies to attract new customers;
  • Start product development initiatives based on customer feedback and requirements;
  • Provide regular updates to the Business Manager based in Portugal.

Requirements

We Are Seeking a Candidate With

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience
  • A strong preference for a background in the mining sector;
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical or Mineral Processing;
  • A proactive, motivated, and self-driven mindset, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities;
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English; knowledge of French is an advantage;
  • Willingness and capability to travel 30-40% of the time;
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, and other key sales tools, along with a desire to learn.
