POSITION: Financial Associate
Position Overview
A financial solutions provider seeks an experienced Financial Associate to become part of their team. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, your main duties will include leading strategic initiatives, assisting in fundraising efforts, overseeing financial planning and analysis, advancing business development, and coordinating essential projects and partnerships to foster company growth.
Duties
- Negotiate commercial terms with clients and partners while evaluating partnership possibilities.
- Create and uphold financial models to assist in business planning, capital raising, investment evaluation, and strategic projections.
- Compile comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and performance evaluations, delivering practical insights to the CEO and management team for informed decision-making.
- Create and present slides for investor gatherings, board meetings, partnership pitches, and internal strategy evaluations.
- Carry out research and analysis across different industries and firms to pinpoint possible market opportunities and competitors.
- Locate and connect with potential clients, partners, and investors to establish and enhance robust business relationships.
- Be present at client meetings when necessary.
Requirements
- Should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a financial institution, strategy consulting, or a strategic corporate position.
- Should have expert abilities in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience in automation, AI implementation, or digital transformation within service sectors is beneficial.
- Should have outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Should have strong organizational abilities and an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization software like Tableau and Power BI.
- Capacity to function in an unstructured setting with minimal oversight
