Job Duties

  • Serving as a strategic human resources advisor for business leaders and department managers.
  • Providing confidential guidance regarding employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management matters.
  • Coaching leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and organizational effectiveness throughout operations.
  • Supporting recruitment, employee engagement, retention, and attendance management initiatives effectively.
  • Assisting foreign worker programs, leave administration, and abilities management processes regularly.
  • Guiding grievances, collective agreements, and labour relations procedures professionally.
  • Supporting HRIS administration and workforce system processes across employee lifecycle activities.
  • Participating in the implementation and revision of human resources policies and workplace procedures.

Job Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree specializing in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience handling complex human resources matters within unionized organizations.
  • Strong understanding of New Brunswick employment, labour, and Human Rights legislation requirements.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, diversity initiatives, and organizational development activities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities within fast-paced workplace environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with employees and organizational leaders.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding sensitive workplace situations consistently.
  • Previous healthcare sector experience, which remains beneficial for this organizational environment.
