Popular Ghanaian rapper Maradona Yeboah known in showbiz as Guru has disclosed that he has not been able to work with Kwami Eugene and Kidi because of their manager.
Present on the Uncut Show hosted by Zionfelix, the NKZ boss explained into details why he has not been able to collaborate with the lynx duo. The “Lapaz Toyota” hitmaker divulged that at that time, he had plans of releasing a new album therefore he thought of featuring young talents like Kwami Eugene and Kidi. According to him he contacted Albert Mensah who happens to be the duo’s manager but he did not get any positive response after he forwarded his request.
As a curious person, he conducted a background check and discovered that Albert was the stumbling block between he and the young artistes. He believes his collaboration with Obrafour in the production of the Kasiebo song is the main cause of the Lynx entertainment’s manager’s behavior towards him.
He bragged that he is a headline artists and that his songs are celebrated in other African countries like Nigeria and that he has even won awards in Nigeria. Furthermore, he passionately said that he has sacrificed so much for the country that he ended up losing his one day old child and yet Ghanaians don’t appreciate his works.
He stated that Ghanaian artiste should not focus on competition with each other but rather aim at selling Ghana together . He added that competing against each other and hating on each other is needless.
