We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and results-oriented individual to fill the position of DIRECTOR, ICT
KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS
Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the successful applicant shall be responsible for the effective acquisition, deployment, and management of business-focused ICT resources and ensure functionality of ICT infrastructure and delivery of a high quality customer-focused ICT service that supports the operations of the Company, and its subsidiaries.
The successful applicant will perform the following duties:
- To begin with, Lead the development of ICT strategy and ensure the strategy supports the company’s business objectives including ongoing development in response to fast changing business environments.
- Then, Act to ensure the development and implementation of effective ICT controls
- Moreover, Act to ensure availability of robust ICT platforms, and infrastructure to support the company’s business operations
- In addition, Prepare the annual ICT budget and monitor expenditure to ensure adequate return on ICT Investments
- Furthermore, Manage the delivery of seamless ICT services to users across the company in line with business requirements and service level agreements
- Also, Work with Executive Management to develop strategic plans for the business future growth
- Afterwards, Manage the deployment, maintenance, monitoring and support of all current ICT systems (software apps, network, pc and peripherals)
- Most importantly, Lead ICT Strategic sourcing and procurement
- Last but not least, Direct the advancement of ICT through innovation
- Finally, Oversee service level agreements with contractors and end users to ensure continuous delivery of technical services
QUALIFICATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of a First Degree in Computer/Systems/Electrical/ Electronic Engineering/ Applied physics/Computer Science or any related course.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification, preferably, an MBA.
- Fully qualified in a relevant professional certification, e.g. CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), or MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administration), or OCP (Oracle Certified Professional).
- Minimum of 15 years experience in ICT role and 8 years in a managerial role.
- Prior experience with managing Enterprise Resource Planning application (ERP) deployment.
