POSITION: National Service Person – Software Developer

Pharmacies utilizing the Gogoplus pharmacy operating system are no longer burdened by ineffective processes; instead, they benefit from robust, pharmacist-created software that streamlines daily tasks and alleviates stress. This allows pharmacists to concentrate on what is most important: attending to their clients.
Position Summary
This is a hybrid full-time position for a National Service Individual – Software Developer. The role is situated in Accra, offering some flexibility to work from home. As a National Service Person, you will be a crucial member of our team, focusing on our backend systems to guarantee that pharmacies and users enjoy a smooth experience. You will utilize Laravel and MySQL to develop new functionalities, aid our pharmacy clients, and occasionally travel (mostly within Accra) to provide in-person support. The position is 60% remote and 40% in-person client assistance.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of PHP, Laravel framework, and MySQL.
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Robust problem-solving abilities and capacity for teamwork.
- Effective communication abilities and flexibility in hybrid work settings.
- Familiarity with the healthtech sector and pharmacy functions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable discipline preferred.
