When to submit a dependant visa application

A dependent may apply concurrently with the student seeking a UK student visa or after the student has learned of the outcome of their visa application.

Family members must wait until the applicant’s visa is accepted before submitting their own permission for entrance clearance if they have sought for further leave to stay in the UK after completing their studies there but have not yet received a decision.
